Brief Bio Floyd Mayweather: Floyd Mayweather comes from a proud boxing family, as his father Floyd Mayweather Sr. is a veteran of 36 professional fights, finishing his career with a 29-6-1 record. Floyd Jr.’s uncle Roger, is his long time trainer.
Mayweather burst onto the boxing scene in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, winning a Bronze Medal, and turned pro shortly thereafter. Over the course of his illustrious career, he won a record six titles in four different weight classes, and will be fighting Saturday night for Mosley’s belt.

He retired in December 2008, after beaten fellow undefeated champion Ricky Hatton. This will be Mayweather’s second fight since returning from the retirement, as he defeated Juan Manuel Marquez in September.
Brief Bio Shane Mosley: Shane Mosley is a 38-year-old fighter out of California, and a veteran of the sport for many years. He was known early on for a legendary 2000 fight with Oscar De La Hoya and after several defenses lost to Vernon Forrest twice in a span of seven months.
Mosley is known for two losses to Winky Wright early in his career as well. In his most recent fight- a ninth round TKO of Antonio Margarito in January 2009- he won the WBA Welterweight championship.
Mosley also has a bit of a checkered past, as he admitted in 2003 to the performance enhancing drug EPO in 2003. He defeated De La Hoya again after admitting to drug use, but many believe his legacy was tarnished because of the admission.
Fighting Style Floyd Mayweather: Mayweather will come into this fight the smaller boxer but also quicker and aggressive as well. He’s fought a mostly defensive style during his career, using his athleticism to wear down opponents over 12 rounds. Four of his last five fights have been decided by decision.
